If you are not already in our database call one of our friendly recruitment specialists and find out if you can participate in any of our currently enrolling Clinical Trials.

Once you are in our database, refer your friends by having them call 702-893-8968 and sign up with us. If they qualify and come in for their screening visit have them ask the coordinator about the contest. The coordinator will give them an entry blank. Your friend will put their name and your name on the form and that is it.

Yeast Infection
Vaginal Candidiasis

What is it?

Is an inflammatory condition affecting the female reproductive organ. Common symptoms include itchiness, vaginal irritation, and discharge.

The main cause is an imbalance between fungus candida, which is a naturally occuring microorganisma and a bacteria in the vaginal area of a woman's body.

Will I get it?

Seventy five percent of women will have a yeast infection at least once during their lives. It is also normal for women to experience this condition more than once.

How did I get it?

Although it is possible to spread the infection through direct contact, therre are other ways for the disease to be transmitted. Even women that are not sexually active may still need to deal with yeast infection (s)

Why Me?

There are many reasons that a yeast imbalance may occur including but not limited to having an impaired immune syste, diabetes, and pregnancy. Sometimes, the antibiotics you may be using could affect the pH balance in your vagina, with in turn leads to yeast overgrowth

What should I do?

If you believe you are suffering from a yeast infection, it's best to consult a gynecologist as early as possible. If you are curretly taking antibiotics it is a good idea to bring a sample of it with you to your appointment.
